Great news! We won first place in the IDEA category of the Hamburg Innovation Award. Our concept (under the name DePla Regeneration) for the chemical recycling of plastic waste was honored in the start-up competition. Beforehand, we were able to convince the jury of our concept in a two-stage selection process. In particular, the potential and progress made to date in the early growth phase was evaluated. The companies Nect (START category) and Luis Technology (GROWTH category) also received awards. At the award ceremony by Katharina Fegebank (Deputy Mayor) and Michael Westhagemann (Senator for Economic Affairs), Christoph had the opportunity to present our approach in the well-attended and iconic fish auction hall. Special thanks go to the sponsors and supporters of the Hamburg Innovation Summit, whose commitment is the wind in the sails of Hamburg’s start-ups. For us, this is an encouragement to really get going.
